What is a VA?

I like to think of a virtual assistant as a "solopreneur"...

A virtual assistant is a freelance assistant and independent contractor who provides technical, administrative and social media services from their own office or home office. VA's are hired on an as needed contractual basis by individuals and businesses - small and large - as a means for outsourcing work, and saving time and money.

Why should you hire a virtual assistant (namely me)?

  • My hours are flexible, and I can provide support outside of normal 9-5 business hours.
  • I have my own resources (office space, personal computers, printers, cell phone, years of previous on the job training, personal vehicle) at my disposal.
  • Client's can expect exceptionally superior levels of service because I care about clients and their referrals for my business. My continued livelihood and income depends on the positive execution and fulfillment of the assigned tasks.
  • I am only paid for the actual amount of time I spend working for you.  You don't have to pay taxes, holiday pay, sick leave pay or offer benefits.
  • The support I can provide frees up my client's time to focus on the activities that bring the most income to their business.

Turn your attention away from everyday office details and focus on revenue generating tasks.  Let me work with you and be your partner in success, and you will soon realize that your costs and obligations (when compared to hiring and paying a full time employee) will decrease considerably.
